Hello,

We are so pleased that you have selected Welshampton Primary School for your child and look forward to them joining us this year.  We understand that this is a most important and exciting time for children and parents alike and we aim to ensure that the transition process is a smooth and positive experience. 

We aim to visit your child within their nursery to enable them to become acquainted with their new class teacher within a familiar setting.  In addition, we have arranged with their pre-school for the children to join us for 'taster' sessions on the mornings of Tuesday 20th June and Tuesday 27th June to experience the school environment and to meet their classmates.  

On Thursday 29th June we are also holding an informal 'Open Morning' for prospective parents.  You are welcome to attend this if you would like to refamiliarise yourself with our school.  Please advise us if you wish to attend. 

Following on from the above dates, children willl start school full time as from Wednesday 6th September.
